In a chamber suspended in time, shrouded in silence and mystery, a noble lady steps inside. She is not alone. Waiting for her are three strangers: a Florentine general with a steely gaze, a fortune teller with unsettling eyes, and a rebellious monk. None of them knows where they are, or how they got there. And no matter how hard they try, there is no way out. The only clue lies on a table scattered with Tarot cards from different eras. Each of them holds one, as if it were part of a larger design. What are they meant to do? Why were they brought here? No one has the answers, only questions. From the shadows, a figure appears. It is Parsifal. No one knows what he truly is, a messenger, a spirit, or something else entirely. But one thing is clear: he has a mission, and he reveals it without delay. They must uncover the origins of the cards. Only by deciphering their mysteries can they hope to return to their own time.
Each episode revolves around two cards, forming the heart of a dual narrative: on one side, scholars and historians trace their origins and iconography; on the other, the characters confront the symbolic meanings the cards evoke, revealing emotions, visions, and conflicts that echo through time and speak to the present.
Tarocchi e Racconti (Tales of Tarot) restores to these ancient cards their original depth, not just as instruments of divination, but as symbolic mirrors of the struggles, choices, and desires that shape the human experience, then and now.
